We have really started to use our schoology accounts to complete and submit assignments due for class. This website helps me to evaluate students individually without wasting any of our group rehearsal time during the day. Students will have a variety of assignments that they will need to complete using this site. For students that have a smartphone or tablet that they can use, there is also a free schoology app that they can download and use to complete their work. If your student does not have access to the internet or a device that can record videos they will need to schedule time on one of the band room computers to complete their assignments. Times are available before and after school and also during lunch. I also have parent access codes that will allow parents to create an account that is linked to the students account so you can keep an eye on your students grades and assignment completion. Event DetailsHoliday Concert
(6th, 7th & 8th grade) 7th & 8th Grade Bands *Concert begins at 3:00pm in the HS Auditorium *Students need to report to the HS Band Room at 2:00pm *Students need to be in uniform. (SOLID Black pants, shoes, socks and any color t-shirt) *Students need to have their instruments and all of their music. *Students will need to stay for the entire concert. (Should be done by 3:45) *EXTRA CREDIT for attending the 5:00pm concert! 6th Grade & High School Bands *Concert begins at 5:00pm in the HS Auditorium *Students need to report to the HS Band Room at 4:00pm *Students need to be in uniform. (SOLID Black pants, shoes, socks and any color t-shirt) *Students need to have their instruments and all of their books. *Students will need to stay for the entire concert. (Should be done by 5:45) *EXTRA CREDIT for attending the 3:00pm concert! |
Meyer Music
Have you taken your instrument in for a yearly check up yet? Instruments need to be repaired at least once a year to get them back into good working order. Just regular playing of an instrument can cause small leaks in the woodwind instruments and brass instruments need to be cleaned out. Meyer Music will look over your instrument and give you a free estimate for the repairs needed. If you are renting the instrument from Meyer Music it is no charge to have it fixed!
